Lucy wore her ring to Mass recently, admiring it often through the quiet moments of the liturgy. As we piled into the car to come home, she displayed her ring to me and proudly said, "Stop sign, Mommy!"

As we walked across a parking lot, Lucy pointed to a handicapped spot and said, "Yook, Mommy, potty!"
